THE WHAT? Indian private equity firm Lighthouse is hoping to raise some US$400 million for its fourth fund, according to a report published by Reuters and quoted by Business Today.
THE DETAILS The new fund will be the company’s largest to date and is expected to close later this year.
Lighthouse has raised more than US$450 million to date and has invested in several high-profile Indian consumer brands, including Nykaa.
THE WHY? Partner Mukund Krishnaswami told Reuters, per Business Today, “We are seeing good interest and are hopeful that the strength of the portfolio and performance of Funds II and III are good tailwinds for these discussions.”
