THE WHAT? Hermes has opened its first beauty boutique in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to a report published by Harpers Bazaar.

THE DETAILS The store, which will sell the French luxury brand’s perfume and cosmetics lines, is located in one of the largest shopping malls in the country, Riyadh Park. Inside, the brand’s Hermessence collection takes center stage and a limited-edition scent, Agar Ebene Calligraphy, will join the line-up in celebration of the new location.

THE WHY? Agnes de Villers, President and CEO of Hermes Parfum et Beaute, told Harpers Bazaar, “We were exploring the right opportunity to open the first Hermes branch in the Kingdom after we opened the first Hermes [beauty] store in the region, which is the Hermes perfume and beauty boutique in the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. It was important to study this from all aspects… and the most suitable place for this distinguished store was in Riyadh.”
