THE WHAT? Beekman 1802 has opened its second Kindness Shop in the newly renovated LaGuardia Airport Delta terminal.
THE DETAILS The New York-based brand said that its decision to site the store in its home state was part of its wider strategy to always support the local and regional economy.
The 600 square foot space pays homage to the brand’s upstate roots with artisanal and thoughtful elements, such as gingham, the brand’s mascot Goatie and milking stools at the counters.
THE WHY? Beekman 1802 Co-Founders, Dr Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell, explained, “We cannot wait to welcome travelers to our Beekman 1802 Kindness Shop at this beautiful new terminal. Our hope is that after visiting the shop and experiencing our collection of goat milk products that are Kind to skin, planet and community, they leave feeling inspired to spread Kindness wherever their travels take them.”
