THE WHAT? AkzoNobel has named Gregoire Poux-Guillaume as its next CEO, effective November 1, 2022, succeeding Thierry Vanlancker whose term is coming to an end.

THE DETAILS Poux-Guillaume has held a number of senior roles over his 25-year international business career, most recently CEO of Sulzer. His appointment is subject to shareholder approval.

Nils Smedegaard Andersen, Chair of AkzoNobel’s Supervisory Board, comments, “Gregoire Poux-Guillaume is an experienced business leader with a track record of delivering above market growth and building strong teams.
