THE WHAT? L’Oréal-owned Lancôme has relaunched onto the Indian market, according to a report published by Mint.
THE DETAILS The luxury beauty brand will be sold via Sephora’s 17 stores in eight cities and online and the launch will be supported by a 360-degree campaign comprising KOL, digital and POS initiatives.
THE WHY? Rachit Mathur, General Manager, Luxury Products Division, L’Oréal India, told Mint, “A visible growth in demand for luxury beauty across a stratum of Indian consumers has been observed in markets beyond major metros, driven by a rise of aspirational consumers with increased disposable income who do not shy away from spending on premium products.”
